The rehearsal dinner was held on July 14, 2000 at 6:00pm and last until 10:30pm. The wedding party first met at the yacht and rehearsed before going to the clubhouse for our rehearsal dinner. Troy and I decided we wanted to have a casual rehearsal dinner where everyone could feel relaxed and have a nice time, so we rented the clubhouse in the apartment complex. Since we wanted to invite not only the wedding party but close family and friends we figured this would probably make the most sense. We hoped that both families would have a chance to mingle and get to know each other before the wedding. My in-laws made the food and decorated the place in a Hawaiian theme. My brother brought the drinks. It worked out perfectly for everyone and we all had a great time before the "big" day!
